Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are looking for an au pair or live-in nanny (depending on qualifications) to look after our two children (our son is 7 and our daughter 3.5). Our children speak both Greek and English and we would love them to continue with their Greek learning so a Greek speaking person is preferable. The working hours will be 3-6:30pm Monday to Friday during school terms and 8-6:30pm Monday to Friday during the school holidays, with 1-2 evenings per week of babysitting. The duties will involve picking them up after school, preparing their evening meal, homework, reading/writing and playing with them.

If the au pair is Greek speaking, then we would love her to continue teaching our kids to speak, read and write in Greek.

Family Description

We are a family of 4, the mother is from Cyprus and the father is from London. Our son is 7 years old and our daughter is 3.5 years old. Both parents work full-time (mother is a lawyer and father is in finance) and our children will be going to the same school from September which is within walking distance from our house. We are a fun and active family who enjoy playing sport (tennis, swimming, football, pilates and yoga). We also enjoy exploring museums, going for walks, cooking, reading - we laugh a lot as a family and have lots of fun. We live near Honor Oak in South East London, close to Dulwich and Peckham Rye. There are lots of parks, restaurants/cafes/bars in our area and good connections into central London (about 20-35 minutes by train). We also live very close to an adult learning centre which provides various classes, including language courses.
