Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Au Pair/Nanny,

We are so excited to welcome you into our family and home! We live in a lively and vibrant part of London, right next to Wembley Stadium, with plenty of attractions to explore. We hope that during your time with us, you’ll not only feel like part of our family but also enjoy all the wonderful experiences this city has to offer.

We have three wonderful children: our eldest, who is 6 years old, will need to be dropped off and picked up from school, just a short 6-minute walk away. Our 4-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son will soon be joining a nursery, but until then, we’re looking forward to your support in keeping them engaged with fun and creative activities, especially when I am at work and my wife is busy with cooking or other household chores.

We’ll also appreciate your help with things like changing nappies and bath time. We believe in working together, so we’ll create a schedule that makes everything flow smoothly. Having your extra pair of hands will truly make a big difference in our day-to-day life.

You’ll have your own room to relax in, and we will always respect your privacy. We want you to feel comfortable and at home while staying with us. You’ll have time to unwind, especially when the kids are at nursery, and your weekends will be free for you to explore the city or enjoy some well-deserved rest. (Please note that if you are a UK registered childminder, we should be able to pay you more than the pocket money offered - we can discuss this further when we speak).
