Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi there and thanks for showing interest to become an au-pair at our lovely place which we call home :)

We are a german-japanese family that lives in Moenchengladbach in western Germany. The location is very convenient as the city center is reachable within <10min by public transport and other major cities are also well connected, such as Duesseldorf (<30min) or Koeln (<40min). Within 30min to the west, you'll already cross the Dutch + Belgian borders!

Job Description

As we are both back to working full-time, we are looking for someone who has experience with childcare and would be willing to take care of our little one during the weekdays from 8:30-16:30.

At home we normally speak a weird mix of English/German/Japanese ... so if you speak at least one of these languages, you'll be fine :D

Our image of an Au-Pair is that you become a part of our family and as a family member we also expect you to help us keeping our home neat and clean, just as you would do at your own house. Additionally, if you could cook your favorite dishes for us once in a while, that would be really amazing!

In exchange we want to offer you a warm welcome to our home, hope you are keen in becoming part of our family, join our family activities, do small trips together, have BBQs, go to the public pool/lake and other fun stuff!

Of course we also encourage you to attend a language school if this is your target (maybe evening school), take free time to travel around or make new friends and we offer you to take care of your health insurance and provide a monthly allowance.
