Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear au pair,
We're a small family residing in Munich and we're in search of an au pair from July or August for 6-12 month. We, thats me Claudia, my husband Dirk and our lovely daughter Livia.

We reside in a beautiful, new house with a lovely garden. The S-Bahn (200m away) takes you to the city center of Munich in 15 minutes. We offer our au pair their own room and bathroom.

We speak German at home, but of course, we also speak English, and since I (Claudia) am originally from South Tyrol, I also speak Italian if needed :-)
Currently, we have a lovely au pair. She will be moving out at the end of May/beginning of June after 9 months.

Our daughter is 3 years old and attends daycare from Monday to Friday. We are looking for a caring person who can assist us with childcare (after kindergarden) and light housework.

Job Description

Our daughter is at kindergarten until 3:00/4:00 PM. You will pick her up and take care of the afternoon routine. If we have evening appointments, you may also help put her to bed. You typically have weekends off. You will work a maximum of 30 hours per week. You'll receive a detailed schedule for the entire week, so you can stay organized and plan your free time.

Additionally, once a week, you might need to prepare a simple dinner for our daughter. If you enjoy cooking, we'd love it if you could also cook for everyone once a week. :-)

Your other tasks will include light houswork like unloading the dishwasher daily, doing laundry, vacuuming...
Most of the tasks can be scheduled during the week at times that suit you.

We will of course pay you a good monthly allowance, cover your insurance, and provide a contribution for a (language) course.

Accommodation

We live in a new house with a garden. Our au pair has her own room and a private bathroom. There are also several other au pairs in our area. Right across the street, a new au pair will be arriving in June. We are happy to help them make connections.
