We are looking for a loving, reliable, and trustworthy (Granny) Au Pair who will support us in our busy family life, be an additional confidant for our children, and share our everyday life with us to some extent, of course with plenty of space of her own.
Since my husband works a lot as a surgeon and has to leave the house very early in the morning and comes home quite late in the evening, you could help me get the children ready in the morning and evening (dressing, brushing teeth, preparing breakfast, showering the children). I take the children to school and daycare around 7:20 a.m. after doing the laundry in the morning. If possible, you could hang up the washed laundry and roughly clean up the morning mess (wipe down the dining table, quickly vacuum up any crumbs if necessary). Once or twice a week, you could pick up the children from daycare by bike around 2:30/3 p.m. and spend the afternoon together. Otherwise, I come home with the children around 3:30 p.m. We can also plan and adapt this together according to your wishes.
Dinner is served around 5:30 p.m., followed by teeth brushing, showering, etc.
We would like you to be available approximately two evenings a week (Friday evenings) so that my husband and I can go out in the evenings when the children are asleep and we know they are in good hands at home. Sunday and the remaining five evenings would be free for you, so you would also have plenty of time for yourself. But this is just a first suggestion.
Smaller household chores, such as hanging up or taking down laundry or vacuuming the floor, would also be required.
A cleaning person comes to our house once a week, so we already have plenty of support in this regard.
Overall, we are looking for someone who enjoys helping a family, a bit like a loving roommate/nanny/grandmother, who has a heart for children and wants to care for them lovingly and trustingly.
