Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Au Pair,

welcome to the beautiful town of Münster in Westfalia! Münster is said to be "not to small, not to big", so a perfect place to live with tons of cultural offerings as well with beautiful landscape around it. It's a very open-minded and vivid city with a lot of young students (about 1/5 of the total population) living here. Besides that Münster was awarded to be the "biker's world capital" - so you should be able to ride a bike or be willing to learn it! ;-)

Our family lives in a cosy green suburb very close to a small river that we use to go Stand-up Paddling in summer times. The bus stops is only five minutes walking distance from our home and the bus will take you three times an hour to the old town and city centre. The ride takes less than 20 minutes.

Job Description

Besides your language classes we expect you to get our son on 3-4 days a week from Kindergarten and spend the afternoons with him (~15:30-18:30 am), either going on the playground, take him to friends or swimming classes, do some handicraft work or playing fireworkers/police. Since we both are working full-time with flexible working hours, we need you to be flexible as well.

Moreover, you should be willing to do some smaller household works such as grocery shopping or emptying the dish washer.
