Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are an international family of two researchers in medicine and social sciences with sons of 2 and 7 years old. We are looking for an au pair to help with taking care of our daily chores and our sons occasionaly. We are looking forward to have an au pair for our family for 12 months period to have enough time to get used to each other and have a good experience.
The speaking language in the household is English so the au pair is expected to speak reasonable level of english. We also speak Dutch, Romanian and Turkish. So it is a very rich in language household where our sons are going to be communicating in English and Dutch.
We are living in Maastricht in the Netherlands which is a lovely city to go around in Europe, close to Amsterdam and Brussels.

Job Description

We are both working and our son goes to the daycare 2 days a week and we live in a family house so we need help with the household chores as well as occasional pick-up and drop-off of our sons in the daycare/school and taking care of the little one for approximately 2 days. The actual working time will be around 30 hours per week. The Aupair compensation in NL is officially capped at €340. Depending on the other costs and benefits and experience of the Aupair we are open to discuss this in the interview process.

Accommodation

We will offer a private fully furnished bedroom on the top floor. The Aupair will most of the time have a dedicated kitchen, bathroom and a livingroom (practically a separate apartment). The room is around 20 m2 and the top floor is around 40m2. Only the bedroom is always private use as we have guests and family a few times a year who are staying in the livingroom side and using the kitchen and bathroom.
