We are looking for a person who likes and enjoys being with children, prepares motivating activities in English, and we also believe that sharing free time between Aupair and family makes the relationship during the time we are living together much more pleasant and affectionate. We would like to find a person who also enjoys their free time with the family, not all their time but in certain activities that we can share together.
During the summer, the schedules at home are more flexible because the children do not have to get up early. In addition, we take advantage of the fact that there is a swimming pool in the development to go down in the afternoons and on weekends and enjoy playing in the water. In the mornings the children get up more or less early, José or I (the one who works from home) prepares breakfast for them and helps them get dressed. They usually spend some time (approx. 1 hour) doing a summer book to review the content seen during the course and the rest of the morning they have free time to play or do some activity such as crafts, legos or water war on the terrace. In the mornings, during the week, we do not go down to the pool because they are too young to be alone. Around 1:30 p.m., we prepare the food so that we can start eating at 2-2:30 p.m. After eating, the children watch a bit of television or take a nap, until one of the two parents finishes work and then we can play something with them. And at 5-5:30 p.m., after snack, we all go down to the pool until approximately 8 p.m. During the time we are in the pool, in addition to swimming and playing games in the water, the children play soccer with friends or some card or board game. At 8pm, we go up to the house, prepare dinner and after dinner we either take a walk around the neighbourhood or watch a family film. At 9:30-10pm the children go to bed. Afterwards José and I clean up the kitchen and the house, watch a TV series for a while and go to bed early.
On weekends we like to visit the grandparents, eat with family or friends, do some sport together, go for a walk around the city, play in the park or the residential area, go to the cinema or visit an interesting museum for the children. We also take advantage of the weekend to do the shopping and clean up the house. During the summer, the schedules at home are more flexible because the children do not have to get up early. In addition, we take advantage of the fact that there is a swimming pool in the residential area so we can go down in the afternoons and on weekends and enjoy playing in the water.
