Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Welcome to our family!

My name is Vicky and I am a single mother by choice to Isa, four years old, and Molly born in September 2024. We live in the small village Hjärup, which is very close to both Malmö and Lund with train or bus (10 minutes). We live in a house with two floors and a basement.
The area we live in is a family friendly neighbourhood with parks and green walking areas. We live on the same street as my sisters family and we spent a lot of time with them. They are also having an aupair and the aupairs we have now have become good friends, which have made their free time more exciting. They have recently signed with a new aupair starting in August/September, so our hope is of course that you also can find eachother and be friends.

I work as an auditor and I am currently working 50-60 % and will do that until Molly is around 13 months when she will start daycare.

Job Description

Between July/August and October, the jobb will be to take of Molly when I work during the days, five hours a day, Monday to Friday. The hours can vary from day to day depending on my work schedule.
For the period after Molly starts daycare in October/November, I will need help to pick up from daycare 2-3 times a week, serve dinner and play with them until I come home from work. Then also during the weekend so I can go to the gym, meet up with friends or other things. Sometimes it will only be taking care of one kid and sometimes taking care of both of them.

Accommodation

Me and the girls sleep upstairs. We have three bedrooms upstairs. On the first floor, there is a combined kitchen/livingroom and two bedrooms, one is a playroom and one is for the au pair. The room for the au pair is quite big.
In the basement there is a sofa and a tv. There is also storage room and laundry room.
