Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a young country family Connor (23), Claire (22) and Maverick (1). We have two friendly dogs, Rosie (Kelpie) and Buddy (Kelpie). We have spent our years together touring Australia for work purposes and have recently found ourselves settling down on a large property about 50 kilometres from Cowra, NSW. Connor is a farmer and lover of the land, Claire is a Project Manager, managing medium to large scale projects. We are very family oriented and more than happy to have you share any of our travels, or spend your down time in your own lounge room, bedroom, exploring the township of Cowra or outside enjoying the piece of country side we reside on.

Job Description

Whilst both Connor and Claire are at work, Connor works on the farm and Claire works 2 days at home and 3 days in Orange. It is expected that Maverick will have a person who can sufficiently care for Maverick whilst both of us attend work. Hours of work will vary but being ready for early mornings (7:00am) are a must.

This includes but not limited to:

- Preparing breakfast, snacks, lunch and (sometimes but rarely) dinner for Maverick.
- Ensuring that Maverick is learning. Eg. Reading books with Maverick, learning to colour in, count etc.
- Preparing Maverick for his days at day care. And very rarely supporting Claire by driving Maverick to and from daycare.

The only true expectations are that Maverick is well cared for, you support the needs of Maverick when needed and you keep your spaces neat and tidy. In your downtime it is up to you what you do. You will have access to a new car to travel to town and do daycare drop offs/pick ups.
