Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello, we’re looking for someone to play in German with our 6 year old daughter and 3 year old son. In July our au pair will unfortunately go home, and she will be missed dearly. She has become such an important part of our family, and we hope to find someone else our kids will bond with.

We live in Lake Garda, and own a holiday resort where we have contact with lots of German guests, and this is why we are searching for a German speaking au pair. Our daughter is sweet and full of energy and loves meeting new people. Our son is a happy and very affectionate little soul and he loves gardening and playing with water. We would want you to be happy here too, and will do our best to make you feel at home & to help you enjoy the Italian lifestyle.

Job Description

We work from home, and we or the grandmother are always around. Perhaps we would ask for around 25-30 hours a week. It’s something we can discuss. You would have 1-2 days off a week, in which you could travel or just relax. In summer our days are very flexible and we might ask you to play with our children while we are busy or to come out with us for a meal, visiting another town. From September both children will be going to school/kindergarten so we might ask for help at breakfast sometimes and then in the afternoon. You would play in the garden together, read books or play something indoors until dinner time. Occasionally we would ask you to babysit in the evenings.
