We are hoping to have a person who can fit into our creative family and help with caring for our daughter who requires 24/7 care. Someone who is responsible, creative, neat, clean, and organized. We do have other caregivers who come to the home but have lost many of them due to the post-covid shortages. We are all vaccinated and maintain a healthy living environment. When our children were younger, we hosted students from a variety of countries including most of the continents. We enjoy the richness of cultures.

Our daughter's cares are basically everything required in daily living from toileting, bathing, eating, and doing her hair to the fun stuff that makes life meaningful. Since she has no functional use of her arms or legs, her helper is her connection to life. With so many people caring for her needs, it is important to be mindful of following routines and keeping everything clean and in order. It makes life easier for all of us. Sonia's favorite word is 'go'. She is social and loves going places. She has a lift van available for all her outings. She can not talk so someone interested in augmentative communication, using the computer, or eye pointing would be a big plus!
