Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi! ✋??

We are Ameline and Brice!

We are parents of 2 children, and we would like to try the Au Pair experience.

Our house, which we bought 2 years ago, is not completely finished and it is therefore possible that some work still needs to be done... It is located in a quiet, family and warm village, about 10-15 minutes from the city center of Namur, 45 minutes from Brussels by car.

There is a train station and buses close to the house!

If you join our house, the idea would be for you to be a full member of our family! We want you to be as integrated as possible, for you to feel good and comfortable. You will be with us, like at home!

In order to enrich the exchange as much as possible, we would like you to teach us English in return? as well as the differences between our cultures (for example: culinary).

We want to share this experience with someone who trusts us, who is like us! Welcome to our home ??

Job Description

If you join our house, we would like you to take care of the children mainly during the week, when they have school and we work.
For example: take care of them in the morning, wake them up, get them ready and take them to school. And at the end of the day, pick them up from school, do their homework, give them showers and prepare dinner.

It is true that help with our canine friends would be ideal, take them out or play with them for example.

We would like you to teach us English. To the children and to us?

You should not hesitate to be stricter with them if necessary, you must make yourself respected!

You will be fully part of our family, and therefore will participate in outings or activities if you wish. But we would also like to be able to count on you if we plan an outing with friends or lovers from time to time…

Accommodation

Regarding accommodation, you will have your own space on the top floor of the house.

We provide you with a comfortable room with bed, furniture, smart TV, desk, so that you have your own space.

We have two bathrooms, a bathroom on the ground floor and a shower room on the first floor, the second one just in front of the stairs leading to your room, it will not be completely private because the children sometimes like to take a shower there, but we mainly use the one on the ground floor.

We also have a room to do a little sport (elliptical bike, rowing machine, treadmill, dumbbells and homegym).

We have of course wifi throughout the house and garden and we will gladly share our streaming accounts (Netflix, Disney +, Amazon Video).

In summer, when the weather is nice, we also put a jacuzzi.

There may be work being done while you are at home… we want to move forward with our renovation project and make the house even more comfortable!?
