Dear Future Au Pair,

We are Mandy, Ben, Lion, Emily, and our lively dog Peanut – a cheerful and warm-hearted family excited to get to know you! We have decided to welcome an au pair into our home because, as self-employed artists, life coaches, and mentors, we’d love to have more freedom to pursue our work with passion while knowing our children are well cared for and supported.

It’s important to us that Lion and Emily not only feel your support but also have the chance to learn from you: a new language, a different culture, and all the little things that make living together so special. At the same time, we hope that you see yourself not just as a helping hand, but as a true part of our family – someone who laughs, learns, and enjoys life with us.

We’re looking for a loving, open-minded, and reliable person who finds joy in caring for children, helping with light household tasks, and spending a meaningful time with us. In return, we want to give you as much as we can: as mentors and musicians, we’re happy to share our knowledge and experiences with you to inspire and support your own journey.

What can you expect from us? A beautiful 170-square-meter apartment where you’ll have your own cozy room. We live in Markkleeberg, a lovely town surrounded by beautiful nature and serene lakes. At the same time, you’re just 15 minutes away by train from Leipzig’s vibrant city center, where there’s so much to discover – including several language schools. We even have great connections to a language school if you’re interested. It’s the perfect balance between peaceful surroundings and urban life!

We’re a modern, lively, and creative family who loves thinking “outside the box.” Openness, warmth, and mutual support are very important to us. Our days are filled with music, creativity, and joy – and we hope you’ll become a part of it all.

Job Description

It’s especially important to us that you enjoy lovingly supporting our two children, especially our little Emily. Helping her learn, spending time outside, playing, and discovering the world together. Leon, who is incredibly curious and has a big thirst for knowledge, will also thrive with your enthusiasm and benefit from your presence. We’re looking for someone who cares for our children with love and passion, helping them experience and explore the world.

Additionally, it would be wonderful if you could support us with household tasks – whether it’s cooking, vacuuming, mopping, or tidying up the kitchen. If you have a driver’s license, it would be great if you could occasionally run errands like grocery shopping. Flexibility and a certain level of self-sufficiency are very important to us, as well as the willingness to learn from each other: sharing your language with joy and, at the same time, learning ours, creating a valuable exchange.

**Your Room with Us**

You’ll have a bright and cozy room of about 10 to 12 square meters in our home. It’s furnished with your own bed, a wardrobe, a TV, and Wi-Fi access – a space to feel comfortable and at ease! While there isn’t a private bathroom, we share a family bathroom and also have two separate toilets. We want you to feel completely at home and look forward to offering you a warm and welcoming place to stay.
