Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Our current au pair is leaving us at the end of February 2025. That's why we're looking again.
We're really looking forward to the adventure of being a host family. We are a family of 5: Mom (Linda, 38), Dad (Matthias, 45), Justus (5), Friedrich (3) and Luise (1)

I'm a primary school teacher.
Matthias works as an orthodontist in another city (4 hours away). So I'm alone with the children from Monday to Friday.
Justus goes to kindergarten. He loves Lego and books, enjoys swimming and playing tennis.
Friedrich also goes to kindergarten. He loves cars and enjoys playing outside. In the afternoon he does a sports and music course.
Luise will go to kindergarten from August 2024.
Since I'm at home in the afternoons, you would only have to look after 1 or 2 children. We can stipulate in the contract that you don't have to look after 3 children.

We live in a beautiful detached house with a large garden with a swimming pool and a playground for the children.
You have your own, very nice and large room with private bathroom.

We live in Meerbusch near Düsseldorf. The subway station is 5 minutes walk away. Just 1 stop and you are in Düsseldorf. It takes 15 minutes to get to Düsseldorf city center.

We are looking for someone to help us with:
• getting the children ready for kindergarten in the morning (dressing, brushing teeth, breakfast....)
• looking after the children after kindergarten
• dinner (you don't have to cook, only if you enjoy it)
* putting them to bed

You have to work a maximum of 30 hours/week, you will receive 300€ pocket money, access to a language course, insurance, transport ticket, mobile phone ticket etc.
We have a cleaning lady who also cleans your rooms.
