Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello,
My mother is looking for a live-in Caregiver, to help her with day to day living to enable her to stay living in her own house.
My mother had a stroke 3 years ago and is now disabled.
The house is located in a traditional small town, in the Loire valley region of France. Easy access to the train station & regular coaches to both Blois & Orleans, and 5mn from the A10 motorway.
Paris Austerlitz is 1hour 30mn by train
The area is renown for its historical castles, Chambord, Blois, Cheverny, Amboise etc are only a few miles away. Both the Beauce & the Sologne are nearby.

Job Description

My mother is wheel-chair bound & her mobility limited.
Her regular routine at present is as follows.
8am getting up/ washing & dressing followed by a small breakfast
12pm lunch
7pm evening meal
8pm undressing, going to bed
Duties:
Help with getting up from bed.
Help with getting into bed.
Washing & all aspects of personal care throughout the day.
Preparing & serving meals.
Laundry.
General cleaning & tidying up & housekeeping duties.
Light gardening duties (if interested in gardening)
Pet feeding.
Shopping.
There is some disabled equipment available to facilitate duties ie; wheel chair, electric bed, walking frame, spinning stand, etc.

The house is located on a quiet street, 3mn walk from the town centre with shops, cafés and all basic amenities.
my mother occupies the downstairs of the house. The caregiver would have the use of a double bedroom, upstairs, and and office/ study room. there is a shared bathroom, large living room & kitchen. A small garden to the front of the house, and a small private walled garden at the rear. there is also a garage attached to the house, as well as on-street parking.
