Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello,

My wife, son and I live in Middleton, WI (a suburb of Madison, Wisconsin). Madison is well known for its, beauty, quality of life, world class hospitals, and one of the top universities in the country. Downtown Madison is a short 10-15 minute drive from our home.

We are looking for a compassionate, engaged, and energetic care taker for our son. Dorian is 11 years old and non-verbal autistic. He is completely "normal" physically, but is delayed in his speech and comprehension, and communicates non-verbally and with his talker device/ipad. He is very active, loves to play, and especially swim in the summer.

The applicant is expected to focus on Dorian. He needs someone to play with, to guide him, and be able to keep up with his high energy demands when he is not in school or therapy. You would be expected to pick up after Dorian, but not any other household duties.
