We are looking for a serious, patient, and caring person to spend the summer with my parents in our beach house in Calabria, just 300 meters from the sea.

My mother is clear-minded and independent, a former teacher. She still drives and handles many things on her own. However, she needs emotional support and companionship, especially during this sensitive time.

My father, also a retired history teacher, has Alzheimer’s. He is still mentally present and physically independent, but no longer speaks. He is calm and serene but needs gentle, consistent presence and understanding.

What we are looking for:

Someone to keep my mother company, help with small errands, and accompany her on short walks or outings.

Household tasks (cooking, cleaning, etc.) are handled by a local woman who regularly comes to the house.

We're looking for a kind, empathetic person, preferably with some experience with elderly people or in family caregiving.
