Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hey :) Nice to meet you! We are an Italian couple with international experience looking for an au pair for our first child. We are mainly based in the province of Venice, specifically in Mirano - a cute city well connected with both Venice and Padua, close to the mountains and the sea. Our baby will be born by the end of July and we look for an au pair starting from October/November 2024 possibly for a 6 month period.

Emiliano - the dad - in an engineer how works in an aerospace company. He travels to Rome 2 or 3 days every week.

Noemi is an engineer working at her own civil engineering company. She deals with business development in the north west of Italy. For this reason she drives towards Lombardy and Piedmont regions two days a week, sleeping in her apartment in Milan for the night. She's looking for an au pair that can follow her during her trips, taking care of the baby during her meetings with the clients. During this night out the au pair will stay in her private room in the apartment in Milan.

The au pair will be free during all weekends but can choose to join us to our home in the mountains when we go there.

The au pair that we are looking for should speak fluent English, has some previous experience with newborns and a driving license. We'd prefer to avoid VISA bureaucracy processes so an European au pair would be preferable.

What we offer is a nice environment and an authentic experience with a young cheerful couple who loves to cook nice food :)

Job Description

We look for an au pair to take care of our newborn (he will be 3-months old in October). This means feeding the baby and changing his diapers, giving baths, playing with him and taking him out.

Emiliano and Noemi look for support Monday to Friday, approximately from 9:00 to 17:00. During the two-days trips to the north west the time may be extended depending on the business meetings of Noemi.
Many times Noemi or Emiliano or the parents of Noemi will be with the au pair and the baby, but sometimes the au pair will be left alone with the kid.

The au pair that we are looking for should speak fluent English, has some previous experience with newborns and a driving license.

We'd prefer to avoid VISA bureaucracy processes so an European au pair would be preferable.

No housekeeping is required to the au pair apart from tidying a bit the room after playing or feeding the baby :)

Accommodation

The au pair will have a private room with a private bathroom at the apartment of Noemi's mum, located 10 minutes distance from Noemi and Emiliano's apartment. This will allow her to have more privacy and to be sure to sleep at night far from the baby :) The apartment is big: 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, big living room, kitchen and a garden.

Noemi's mum is a doctor working at her own dental clinics. She often goes to her home in the mountains from Fridays to Mondays leaving a lot of space to the au pair. She'd love to practice her English :)
