Dear future Au Pair,

We are very happy that you are considering becoming a part of our family!

We are a family of three – Christina, Robert, and our daughter Anna, who is seven years old and will soon turn eight. We live a little south of Lisbon in a beautiful, sunny area that is close to the sea. Originally, we come from Germany, but Portugal has become our new home, and we truly enjoy the relaxed lifestyle, the nature around us, and the wonderful weather.

At home, we speak German, so it’s important that you feel comfortable communicating in German with us. However, we would also love it if you speak some Portuguese, as this would help Anna strengthen her Portuguese skills. It would be a great advantage if you feel confident in both languages – or are at least open to learning.

We are currently looking for a warm, responsible, and open-minded Au Pair to join our family starting this summer, ideally for a full year. Your main role would be to support us in everyday life, especially with Anna – taking her to school, helping with her daily routine, and spending time doing fun and creative activities together.

Anna is a bright, curious, and cheerful child who loves to play, explore, and learn. She enjoys nature, being active, and spending time at the beach. That’s why it would be a big plus if you can ride a bike and swim – both are part of life here.

A valid driver’s license is essential, as school drop-offs and pick-ups are part of the daily routine. Other than that, we’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of a family, sharing meals, stories, and laughter – and who would like to experience everyday life in Portugal.

We hope to find someone who doesn’t just see this as a job, but as a real cultural exchange – someone who will become like an older sibling to Anna and a part of our family.
