Thank you for your interest in assisting our family! We are looking to hire 2-4 dependable, reliable, considerate caregivers to live and assist our son as he transitions into adulthood. David is a gentle child who suffers from cerebral palsy and has sensitive medical needs. He cannot walk or talk, but he does love the outdoors, horseback riding, swimming, and spending time with his family. We are in the process of converting a house that is near the family home into an independent living center for him complete with a swimming pool, laundry facilities, transportation, and independent rooms / private housing for caregivers. Our home is nestled in central Texas in Moulton, a rural community of Polish and Czech descendants with a population of less than 860 souls. We live in an idyllic setting centrally located between Houston, San Antonio, and Austin, all of which are 1.5 hours away.

The ideal person would be able to stay and work for at least 3-6 months. We will train all of the sensitive medical requirements and only require the caregivers to be willing to learn English if they do not have a basic command already. We will provide room, board, housing, transportation, and perpetual access to high-speed internet. We will also provide excursions to the surrounding cities and encourage engagement in the local community, as well as access to English lessons as desired.
