Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a family of 4 - Alex (dad), Rosie (mum), our son Henry is 7 years old, our daughter Paige is 6 and in addition our very placid groodle dog, Brinkley makes up our family. We’re an active family who love exercising, travelling, camping and spending time outdoors.

We’re a very easy going, positive family who love to have a good time. We’re looking for an Au Pair who is kind, positive, clean and happy to help out around the house, (and loves a good board game!)

Job Description

Pocket Money: $350 per week (including $100 for cleaning)

$250 for general tasks include looking after the kids before and after school on a Monday through to Thursday.

You will be free to explore the local Mornington Peninsula during the school days (10:30 - 3pm) and on weekend with Friday - Sunday free time.

Task include looking after the kids, preparing their food, taking them to activities (school and after school sports activities). Helping with school readers and homework. Other tasks include keeping the house cleaning and tidy (wipe kitchen, toys tidy after each day, kids bedrooms, vacuuming). Throwing a load of laundry.

A further $100 per week to do a bigger clean of the house (3-4 hours), while kids are at school on a Thursday.
And one night a fortnight of weekend babysitting, which will be discussed and pre-arranged.

Schedule will be full time in school holidays (Monday - Thursday). (2 weeks in April, 2 weeks in July, 2 weeks in September)

Accommodation

We have an entirely separate apartment just for you! We have a separate apartment on the lower level of our house which has been set-up for our Au Pair to live. This newly renovated apartment includes bedroom/living room, kitchenette and bathroom with separate entry - with no need to share this space at all, this would be entirely yours.

We also provide a car and gas (one tank per month as required), car will be available at all times for your use - you're welcome to explore Victoria in your off time using our car.

Our home is on a large property in Mount Eliza on the Mornington Peninsula Victoria (Australia), about 40 mins south of Melbourne. We have 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, swimming pool, tennis court and a big back yard for the kids to run around. We're situated in walking distance to beautiful beaches, shops and facilities.
