Hello there,

We are looking for a kind, mindful and playful au pair or nanny who has experience and interest in practices as such Montessori learning and emotional intelligence. We are not looking for someone who is highly qualified or even long experience with children, but approaches children with gentle curiosity and patience.

We are a trilingual family, speaking a German, English and Chinese at home. We used to live in Shanghai and our first son was born there. I am British, born and raised in London, my grandparents are Chinese and my husband is a German. Therefore, my first language is English and I am looking for a Chinese Au pair to speak strictly only Chinese to the children (and also for me to practice).

We live in a house in the city of Münster, 5 mins from the train station and central city, 1 min walk directly to the canal, where you can swim in the summers. Plenty of playgrounds, cafes and shops right next door.
Münster is a small city, with an international university, vibrant art and music scene, open and environmentally conscious. It’s a wonderful mix of German Christmas markets with Dutch architecture and bikes. Close to the Netherlands, and closest big cities are Düsseldorf, cologne and dortmund.
