Hello Au Pair!

We are excited to get to meet you! We have actually had an Au Pair in the past when our twins were babies, and now they are 8 years old! We are looking forward to hosting again, as we had a wonderful experience with the Au Pair we had years ago.

We are the family of 5 and we live in Muskego, Wisconsin. The city of Muskego is both fun and relaxing with lots of lakes, parks and restaurants and shopping. We are not far from larger cities like Milwaukee which is about a 30 minute drive, and Chicago which is about an hour and one half drive.

My name is Jennie and my husband is Nick. We have 3 kids, the twins are Lily and Fletcher who are 8, and are in 2nd grade. Even though they are twins, they have very different personalities, but are both very sweet and kind kiddos. Mackenzie turned 6 last July, (our little firecracker) and is a sweet and funny little girl who is in 1st grade! We have one dog named Shandy and she is a 10 year old Cavalier King Charles spaniel and is the most laid back dog you have ever met.

Nick is a family practice physician who works Monday through Friday, and I am a pharmacist and Functional Medicine Practitioner and work also Monday-Friday. The girls go to elementary school during the day, but Fletcher has a unique situation this year and will not be in school in person this year for 2nd grade. We found out in July that he had a genetic condition called HLH, and needed to have months of chemo and then got a bone marrow transplant in October. The process went well and he is home now and getting better every day! He is even able to play outside and run around and ride bikes with his sisters again now! The plan will be for him to return to school normally in the fall this year. While we will need some help with the girls before and after school, the main thing we will need help with is to stay home with Fletcher during the day and help facilitate virtual learning while we are at work. Fletcher is a sweet kid, and most of the time the day is very easy and low key. There might be some weekends that we may need some help, but for the most part weekends are for family time and we try to just be together and spend quality time. You are more than welcome to join us at any time! Of course, you are also welcome to go out and enjoy yourself on your own time and explore as well!

We are hoping to find an Au Pair that is caring, kind and nurturing and enjoys spending time with our kids and our family. We are really looking forward to starting this journey! Thank you!
