Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello, and welcome!
We live in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Our house is located in a big gated community on a golf course. We are about 7-8 minutes drive from the Atlantic Ocean, and we go there 3-5 times a week in the summer / spring / fall. The place where we live is safe but not small. For example, the street that we live on goes 2.5 km in a circle. Because the community is gated, we have to get everywhere by car. There are no bus stops, and if there are, it is a long walk. We do have bicycles and one car is available for driving, if you not only have a valid license, but also feel comfortable driving, and have at least 1 year of driving experience.

Job Description

We would like to find someone easy going and mature at the same time. We like to travel. Sometimes on short trips, sometimes overseas, and sometimes skiing. Skiing is once a year and we expect you to come with us. You don't have to ski if you don't want to. We are looking for French speaking AuPair, because we want to expose our daughter to French language. Why not? We already speak Russian at home, and English will not be an issue growing up in the US. If you speak only Russian, that is fine too. We are looking for someone for 45 hrs per week. To play with the child, and help my wife around the house. We do have a housekeeper, a made that comes once a month, but there are always other things that we could use your help with from helping with the dishes to organizing the toys.

Accommodation

You will be in the living quarters on the 2nd floor of our house. The bedroom would be yours 100% of the time. Rarely we have friends, so when they come, the bathroom will be shared. We have friends visiting 2-3 times a year for up to 10 days. Mostly it's 2-3 days. The house has 5 bedrooms, so there is plenty of space. We also have a good size swimming pool that we use almost every day in the summer.
