Looking for a kind and experienced Filipino au pair (already in the EU)

Hi! We are a fun, loving and busy Dutch family of six – with four children (ages 2, 4, 7 and 8 – two boys and two girls). We're currently looking for a Filipino au pair to join our family starting between October and December (exact start date can be discussed). There will be an overlap with our current au pair, so you’ll have time to settle and get familiar with the kids and our routines.

What we’re looking for:

- Experience with toddlers and young children
- Takes initiative, is proactive and responsible
- Warm, caring, energetic and attentive to child safety
- Someone who truly enjoys being around children and wants to be part of our family
- Can ride a bicycle (essential in the Netherlands!)
- We live in a great location in the Netherlands with a large local au pair community

**Typical responsibilities include:**

- Babysit the youngest 2 kids
- Preparing breakfast, snacks, lunch, cooking dinner for the family
- Prepare lunchboxes
- Picking up kids from school/bringing kids to school
- Occasionally babysitting in the evenings
- Helping the children with getting ready for school: hair, brushing teeth, and daily routines
- Engaging with the children through play, reading, and creative activities
- Helping prepare school bags, sports gear
- Being available on Saturday and Sunday mornings to help care for the younger children while the older ones have soccer and hockey
- Household chores:

Cleaning up after meals
Keep kitchen clean
Keep living room tidy and organized
Laundry and ironing
Keeping the playroom organized and toy storage clean
Keep children’s bedrooms tidy and clean
Changing the bed sheets
Clean shared bathrooms and toilets
Vacuum and mopping
