Welcome!

We're a young family living in Nanaimo, a city on the coast of Vancouver Island. Nanaimo is beautiful, with a central location to explore the rest of the island and a one hour ferry ride to Vancouver.

We are excited to welcome you into our home. We would love for our children to be exposed to French language, as they will eventually be enrolled in a French school- that would be a bonus! We speak English, although my husband is conversational in French.

Job Description

We have two lovely children, a one year old and a four year old. We are hopeful for support with daycare pick up, thus the ability to drive is important. It's a short drive, approximately 10 minutes to the daycare. Both our children are in full time daycare, however we would be very grateful for support for childcare when the children are sick or unable to attend daycare for other reasons. Other responsibilities can be discussed, but we are hopeful for support to make the children's lunches, dinner meal preparation and support for children's laundry and light cleaning.

Accommodation

We have a separate bedroom in the basement with a large window and large walk in closet for exclusive use by you. On that level is also a wet bar with a fridge, cabinet space and microwave that can be for your use. There is also a bathroom, which would be mostly exclusive use by you, except when the children need to use it as it is beside the play room.
