Welcome to Nanaimo and to our family!

We are so happy you’re here and excited to begin this new adventure together. Nanaimo, located on the stunning Vancouver Island, is full of natural beauty, friendly people, and so many things to explore.

Our home is in a great location — just a 5-minute walk from the Departure Bay ferry terminal if you ever want to visit Vancouver, and only a 15-minute bus ride to downtown. If you enjoy walking, it’s about a 45-minute stroll to the city centre along a beautiful waterfront path — one of our favourite ways to take in the scenery.

We’re a multicultural family — French, Chinese, and Canadian — and we love good food, drinks, and spending time outdoors. From trying new recipes in the kitchen to discovering new hiking trails, we’re always up for a little adventure and fun. We can’t wait to share these experiences with you and also learn more about your culture and background.

Most of all, we want you to feel at home here — not just in our house, but as part of our family. We’re here to support you, answer any questions, and make sure you feel welcome and comfortable every step of the way.
