Hi there!

We are a fun-loving family of 5 residing in the sunny northern suburbs of Brisbane, Australia. (2.5 year old boy, 4.5 year old girl, 6 almost 7 boy and 8.5 girl). We are looking for an extra pair of hands to assist with school routine and light house keeping during weekdays.

We do love the outdoors and do go on adventures and explore nature. We also love making food from other cultures and sharing it as a family. We are not couch potatoes!

Our family is immersed in both Filipino and Australian culture.

We are looking for someone who values emotional intelligence, has a zest for life, loves the outdoors, is easy going and fun. We would be happy to showcase our local beaches, hidden nature reserves and tourist attractions. We would ideally like someone to stay on a long-term basis of at least 12 months. Job Description

Working hours
Work hours are limited to when I am on shift on weekdays only - I am on a 9 day roster. Average hours for first 9 days is 40 hours. Average hours for second 9 days is 32 hours. Extra hours to be discussed first and remunerated accordingly.

School Routine
Morning - starts at 05:30am
Prepare school lunches
Get the kids ready for school.
Drive the children to day care and school - completed by 07:00

07:00 to 14:30 Free time.

Afternoon - school pick up at 14:50
Take 8 year old child to extra curricular activities twice a week (Martial Arts).
Collect 3 other children from after school care and day care - completed by 18:00

Evening - from 18:00 onwards
Dinner and showers for the children (No cooking of evening meal required. My sister or myself will prepare these).
Read bed time story and put children to bed - all children in bed by 20:30pm.

Weekend - Au Pair not required to work.
We engage the services of preferred babysitters for weekend care. Either myself, my sister or a baby sitter will care for the children on a weekend or public holiday.

House Keeping Duties
Light house keeping duties such as tidying children's toys, stacking/unstacking dishwasher, vacuuming floors and folding of clean laundry required please. Some light cooking/preparation of meals required please, such as cutting up fruit and reheating meals for the children. Either myself or my sister will complete the weekly food shopping, meal prep for the week and school lunches, washing of the laundry and other household duties.

Driver licence required please. Family car/s available for your private use too.

Accommodation

We live in a 4 bedroom house in the Moreton Bay region. The successful applicant will have their own private bedroom and share a bathroom with the children. Wifi is available for use. There are lots of parks and bush walking tracks to adventure in.

Our home is in a convenient location. The nearest bus stop, gym, dentist, doctor, supermarket, hairdresser and various takeaway food is 5 mins walking distance. The nearest train station is around 10 mins drive. Brisbane city is 40 mins drive. We are surrounded and spoilt for beaches at Beachmere, Woody Point, Margate, Redcliffe, Sandgate, Brighton (all within 20mins drive), Bribie (30 mins drive) and the Sunshine Coast (1 hour drive north). Northlakes is the closest major retail outlet (10 mins drive).
