Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Originally translated from Français
Hello future Au Pair
To start It is important to let you know that we are looking for a person who speaks a little French for children and to have their driver's license.
Otherwise we will not follow up on your application because it may be complicated.
we have already had 3 Au pairs with whom everything went very well because we are very brave people.

We live in a small village of 3000 inhabitants called Neuvecelle located near Evian-Les-Bains known worldwide for its water.
The living environment is exceptional if you love nature, because we are surrounded by mountains and have the largest lake in Europe.
there is a port to get to Switzerland (Lausanne - Geneva) and a train station which leaves Geneva and its international airport (Switzerland) every 30 minutes, all between 10 and 20 minutes on foot from the house.
in winter we can go skiing 15 minutes from home in a small ski resort, but we also have large ski areas like Chatel, Morzine, Avoriaz and many others because we are close to Switzerland.
In the summer we take advantage of the lake and the large municipal swimming pool which for me is just magnificent and very well maintained.
So if you like the calm of the countryside, you will be perfectly at ease with us, but if you are looking for the world and the stores for shopping, you will have to take a bit of road or simply look for another family.
Know that thanks to our quality environment we do not suffer from confinement because of covid-19, our large garden and our house are a little paradise.

Job Description

For who is asked the person who will come to us is very simple, and I want to tell you that I am not looking for an employee but a person who will help us in everyday life and spend time. time with us and be part of the family.

Helped me take care of Luca and Giulia as soon as they woke up at 7.20 am ie, breakfast, help them get dressed.
I take care of putting them down at school in the morning.
You will have to pick them up at 11:30 am and have them eaten.
Luca will go to school every other day in the afternoon but Giulia will go every day so back to school at 1:20 pm.
school ends at 4.30 p.m., so pick them up and do homework with Giulia and occupied Luca during that time.
Wednesday is a day of rest for children so they will do extra-curricular activities so they will have to be taken.
working days are Monday to Friday.
All while helping us with basic household chores (vacuuming, mopping, emptying the dishwasher and if you know how to cook it's really good because we always do everything ourselves).

You will have your weekends and maybe days in the week more because my wife's schedules are not regular like mine, which does not prevent you from being an integral part of the family even during your leave .

We are not looking for a housekeeper or a handyman but an Au Pair who will also be kind to our children and us.

Our former Au pairs have always been happy with us and can tell you if you wish.
