We are an American family with a one-year-old daughter, Finley, and a miniature dachshund, Graham. We are looking for a caring, energetic, and responsible au pair to help us care for our daughter and dog while we are at work.

Job Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Occasional flexibility required for late hours if we are working late (this will be communicated in advance when possible)

Responsibilities:
- Caring for Finley: Your main responsibility will be looking after Finley during the day. This includes engaging her in fun and educational activities, playing, reading books, and helping her with daily routines like meals and naps. We’d love for you to teach her, play with her, and provide a nurturing environment, treating her as if she were your own.
- Outdoor Activities: Finley loves being outside, so we’d like you to take her on walks, bike rides, or to the park to enjoy some fresh air and playtime.
- Dog Care: Our miniature dachshund, Graham, is also part of the family. He will need to be taken on walks a couple of times a day and played with when you're at home. He's friendly, active, and loves chasing squirrels in the yard.
- Meal Preparation: You may be asked to prepare Finley’s meals and snacks, ensuring she eats healthy, balanced food.
- Light Housekeeping: Helping with light housekeeping related to Finley’s and Graham’s care, such as tidying up after meals, cleaning up toys, and keeping their spaces organized.

Requirements:
- Must be fluent in German and willing to speak German to Finley to support her language development.
- Previous experience with childcare is preferred but not required.
- Must be responsible, dependable, and able to handle a flexible schedule.
- Comfortable with a small, playful dog.
