Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello Au Pair / Nanny. We are a host family with father and 2 children aged 9, James and Lana aged 12. We are based just outside the capital city of Cardiff, Wales, UK. We have a 5 bedroom house with all modern technology and renovated like new and clean property.

Lana my daughter is in year 7 (first year high school) and James is year 5 (primary school). Both schools are local and a bus takes my children to the school from outside the house. They are great well behaved children always keen to learn and have good energy to which they enjoy playing outside and on games in their rooms.

I am looking for an au pair / nanny to assist in parental duties so I can put more focus on my work. I primarily work from home in my office room but will require aine visits to the office in bristol (30 mins drive away) and some overnight stay overs.

I offer the nanny a generous flexible package with increased pay for any additional work not agreed as the base package. To compliment the Nanny’s stay I offer a fully modern room including a car as and when required.

Day to day duties can be negotiated to work around nanny requirements and free time needed. Mostly will
Consist of some cooking, some play time and some local driving to support the children’s needs. The right candidate will offer me professionalism and a caring personality to support my children.

Cooking skills is preferred but not essential.
Vacancy / job on offer will be flexible hours, agreed duties with working hours and pay all to be negotiated. The vacancy will offer paid holidays and expenses catered for with the family worldwide.

Accommodation

We have a 5 bedroom house with large screen TVs in each room. The property has 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms.
WiFi is great and have 2 cars here which the nanny can have access to if required. The accommodation is located in a town about 10 minutes away Cardiff city centre and a 5 minute walk to the local train station which can connect you to the whole network. Bristol centre is 30 minutes train, Cardiff centre 10-15 min train and London is 1hr 30- 2hrs away.
Local amenities consist of supermarket (2min walk), McDonald’s (2 min walk) along many more facilities, eg. Parks and recreational areas.
