Welcome Letter to the Au Pair
We're looking for an au pair to join our family in Annalong, County Down. We're in the countryside but close to a small town with a supermarket, pub and a couple of coffee shops.
We're well located with easy access to the mountains and coast. So very well suited for someone who likes the outdoors.
The closest bigger towns would be Kilkeel (10mins by car) and then Newry which is 30mins drive or a bus ride away. I think there would be language schools in Newry but you would need to check that.
Our family, is me - Nicola, my son, Acer, my daughter Rowan and our little mixed poodle, Willow.
Acer is 2.5yrs and Rowan is 6months (as of Jan 23) Acer is an active. climbing, eats everything little toddler who has a fascination with emptying out all my cupboards on a regular basis. Rowan is a bundle of smiles and sleeps so well but has had some health issues with weight gain.

I'm Nicola, 40 and work from home full time. I'm very out-doorsie and like to be running or in the mountains whenever I can.
Willow is our little dog who is included in all our family activities. She's about 10kg to give you an idea of size and is 11years old. But don't let the age fool you - she's still got the energy levels of a puppy when you take her out for walks!
We're a vegetarian household and non-smokers.
Job Description
I also have my mum who can help out with childcare, so we can be flexible and work something out if needed.
There is no meal prep necessary, as I generally pre-cook or am cooking my own lunch and dinners so not officially needed - although I would love the help if you are a keen cook yourself :)
General house tidying/cleaning throughout the day - but just related to child activities - nothing extra is expected.
