Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

My wife and I live with our two sons in a small city named Coffs Harbour on the East coast of Australia. We both work full time and the kids are going to a local school very close by.

Normally my in-laws live with us and help us manage our lives while we both work full time, and soon they will be away travelling for a 12 month period, so during their time away I have been thinking about how best to keep our family lives happy and organised. So I am considering how an au pair can become part of our family for up to 12 months.

We like spending time outdoors and the kids are involved in plenty of activities, such as swimming, basketball, surfing, learning piano. We also hope to organise a trip to Japan within the next 12 months and would find it especially valuable if we could travel with our au pair to visit Japan, possibly during the snow season.

Job Description

Our requirements aren't too strict as the boys are 11 and 13 years old and somewhat mature and well-mannered, but we would appreciate your help in supporting us in caring for the kids with daily tasks like helping cook and clean after meals at home or for school, plus help with laundry.

Its not strictly required, but if you have a driving license:
* we would also appreciate if the you could take the boys to and from school, which is less than 5 minutes drive away.
* the shopping centre is also about 5-10 minute drive, so it would also be nice if you could help with light shopping from time to time

We would also like for the kids to learn a second language, they speak English primarily, they have basic level Chinese, but I would love to be able to learn Japanese or other languages.
