We are so excited to welcome you into our family and begin this wonderful journey together! Your decision to join us as an Au Pair means so much, and we are thrilled to have you as part of our home.

Our family consists of myself, my spouse, and our two children, Zara and Zainab (expecting to join us in Dec). We live in Iowa city but plan to move to North Carolina Feb next year and we are looking forward to showing you around and helping you settle into your new surroundings.

Your role in our home is incredibly important, and we truly value the care and support you will provide. As much as you’ll be helping us, we also hope to create a supportive, fun, and enriching experience for you during your time here.

Job Description

1. Childcare:
• Supervise and care for our kids, including engaging them in fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities.
• Prepare meals and snacks for the children.
• Assist with morning and bedtime routines, including dressing, bathing, and getting ready for school or activities.
• Take the children to and from activities, or playdates as needed. (a cab can be carnage if you don’t drive)
2. Household Support:
• Help keep the children’s rooms and play areas tidy.
• Assist with light household chores related to the children, such as laundry and cleaning up after meals.
• Support parents with basic family organization, such as packing school bags or organizing activity schedules.
3. Cultural Exchange:
• Share your culture and language with our family.
• Be open to learning about our culture and participating in family activities.
