Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello to all prospective au pairs,

We are a mixed Costa Rican-American family currently living in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. We are in the process of moving closer to the city of Liberia (largest city in Guanacaste). The city of Liberia has several Spanish-language schools and there are many public transportation options there. The Arenal Volcano is within a 1 and a half hour drive and the city of San Jose is about 3-4 hours depending on traffic. Some of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica are within 1-3 hours away.

My husband and I are looking for someone energetic and with a positive attitude that will play with our son in board games, join him in sports, go swimming, biking, and maybe help him with occasional homework. We do not expect this person to clean or cook. Our priority is our son; he is an only child and seeks social connection with someone other than his parents.
