Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Please do NOT contact us if you do NOT speak Dutch!
We are a friendly, easy going family of four. We live in a shared house (we have the first and top floor, another family lives on the ground floor) with a nice garden. It is a quiet neighborhood and less than 5min walk from bus, tram and train that brings you straight to the center of Zurich within 10-20min. It is next to café, restaurants, shopping center, swimming pool, ice skate ring while being quite and not busy. (Yes we are lucky!)
We are vegetarian but not strict. We love long talks in the evening around a tea or glass of wine. But we also respect everyone rythm and own "bubble".
We are looking forward to have you in our family :-)

Job Description

We are looking for help with our kids. We both work 80%. The tiny one will go to day care some days a week. (1-3days/week) The small one is going to kindergarten. The au pair will need to help with taking care of the kids including cooking lunch and feeding them. Sometimes we would need help for groceries and or laundry. The au pair is free to have guests and go out and have their own activities. When we go on holiday it will be up to the au pair if they want to join or not.
We expect you to speak Dutch/Flamish with the kids such that they do not loose their Dutch. We adults can speak, English, French or German with you (or Dutch) up to you.

Accommodation

We have a 4 bedrooms apartment over two floors. The au pair has their own bedroom. The bathroom and toilets are shared but there is also a bathroom in the ceillar (yes this is mega weird don't ask us why). We have a balcony and a nice garden. We have many bikes ^^ there is no TV but WiFi and a SIM card will be provided if needed. There is also a kitchen, a separate dinning room, a separate living room/salon and a guest room/office (the kids share the same room)
