Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello to our potential future au-pair.

Please note that we do not need an aupair until JUNE 2025, as we have one until then who will be happy to speak with you.

We are looking for the following:

A female aupair
You are KIND, RESPECTFUL, THOUGHTFUL
You are happy to live as part of the family and not count your hours.
You help out when you see that help is required ie if only one parent is at home
You do not hide away in your bedroom when you know that one parent might require support
You are happy to engage with the family
You are happy to cook vegan meals
You are happy to eat vegan/vegetarian meals
You love dogs and are happy to take our kind dog for a walk a few times per day

You do not:
Go out and get drunk and wake up hungover and unable to support the household
Speak to the host family in an arrogant or rude manner

Please don't apply if you don't agree with any of the above points.

We will treat you kindly, like a member of the family, and also ensure you have your own space
You will be paid additionally if you would like to help out with chores such as additional babysitting on the weekends, ironing, cleaning etc

Job Description

Wake up between 8am-08:30 to walk the dog (20 minutes), and then look after the children
The kids go to creche/school at 1pm (mum or you to take to local creche). The eldest will start school in September 2025, and will finish school at lunchtime on a few days. You will need to be available to help with him if the mother is working.
Saturday or Sunday morning we will require a few hours of help.

You will be able to attend language courses.
