Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Nice to meet you.

We are a young family and we will become parents in January for the first time to a baby boy. Therefore and for our granny we would need a helping hand. If you like animals, we also have two Rag Doll cats. My husband is working full time. I would like to continue my study as soon as possible. But anyway we take time for us too. Family life is important for us and we would like to welcome you in our family as a part of it. Of course we will never replace your family but for the start in a new life of you we prefer a person who has the will to become a part of our little family. We like to do sports and we like to play games. Games like UNO for example. All in all we would discribe us as a nomal family.
If you have interest in learning German and maybe to study in Germany later, then we would help you to reach your goal. German is not an easy language. But if you live with native speakers then we are sure you will learn it with us pretty fast.

Job Description

We need someone who likes to talk and wants to spend time with us. because it is difficult to say when it will be work or when it will be family time. As an Au Pair it will be not so easy for you, we know that, because you will be together with (we hope just in the beginning) strangers. But you have the chance to change it, so therefore we prefer someone who is outgoing and communicative. what is work? everybody needs to eat. so cooking can be work or a pleasure. cooking is work when you have to cook alone. but cooking can be a pleasure when everybody helps and cooks together. the same you can say about cleaning. we clean togther not let someone do the things alone. the only definition of work we already can say is when we need time for us and you stay at home with the baby, cats and granny. then we definetly say it is work. So please tell us when you need time for yourself, we will give you the space and time.

Accommodation

We have a separate bedroom for you. Our flat have 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms one kitchen and one livingroom. Additional we have a little garden because we live in the first floor of a 4 floor house. The flat is around 106 qm big and your room must be around 15 qm. of course you can lock your room and if you need you can have also a TV in your room. We live in a quite nice area witch is very new and central. The area got built in 2020 and is new.
The flat is in the middel of the city. close to us is everything you need. The language school for example is around 1,3 km far from us. also the shoppingstreet is close to us. We live not far away from the river and a gym is in our area as well. we like to live here.
