Work abroad in Mathieu's family for 6-12 Months starting from May 2025 as an Au Pair to take care of 2 children of 0 - 1 year old & 1 - 5 years old in Olten, Solothurn Switzerland

Dear future family member :)

Thanks for visiting our profile! We are a young family consisting of Jacqueline (34), Mathieu (30), Alphonse (3) and Madeleine (0). Both of us parents are working, even if not full time. The list of our hobbies has become shorter since we became parents, but we still like to cook, play board games and hike. In winter, Mathieu goes skiing while Jacqueline enjoys long walks in the snow. In summer, we really like to go swimming.

We live in Olten, a town that is small enough so that you can walk almost everywhere but also big enough so that you can find absolutely everything: Shops, museums, theatre, cinema, clubs, etc. Also, it is very conveniently located, which means that by train you get to Basel, Bern, Lucerne, Zurich and a lot of other towns in 30 minutes or less.

Other people tell us that we are fun and quite uncomplicated :) We give our best in raising our children in a good way, but we are very realistic that nobody is perfect and that nobody needs to be it! Thus, we set up rules, we are sometimes strict, but mostly we are just full of love towards Alphonse and Madeleine.

But enough about us! We are on this site, because we are searching for a fun, open and warm au pair that helps us a bit in combining work & family life. We don't need someone with any specific skills or capabilities as we are really looking for someone who doesn't merely work for us but who becomes part of our little family. Who knows, maybe you will even want to join us on an excursion? We would love that :)
