Hi all potential Au Pair applicants!

We are a blended family from Finland. We are in the city of Joensuu and in Helsinki. Which are 400km away from each other, yes I know crazy! We are outgoing family with all together four kids, a dog and a pony. And to make it more interesting there are several pieces in this puzzle! Are you ready for it?

Basically, your job would be located in Joensuu, we live in a lake side house 20minutes out from the city center. Joensuu is a nice small town with a university. You could say I am single mom with two daughters aged 6 and 8 from my previous marriage and a dog - 9year old labradorretviever. My daughters speak Finnish and know few words in English, but I would love for them to learn more English. During the summer also girls’ pony is staying in our own stable. My work as a CEO is pretty demanding and I would need help to take care of these future boss ladies and with some home chores.

Usually, my daughters are with me every other week and every other week they are with their dad. On the off weeks I live in Helsinki - the capital of Finland with my spouse who also has two kids from his previous marriage. His daughter is 11 and son 8 years old. My spouse in originally from US and his kids are bilingual (Finnish and English). On my off weeks, your job would be more about taking care of the house and sometimes taking care of the dog.

During the summer, school holidays and some of the weekends we spend time together with our whole blended family and then amount of the kids double to four.

Our Joensuu house is located in countryside by the lake, so swimming skills and outdoor spirits are must. It is beneficial if you also like dogs and horses.

We like to travel and when we are traveling with kids au pair would be traveling with us.
