Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We live in a suburb in the North of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. We're looking for someone to help out with our 2 children, one of which will be born in October. Mainly, you'll be helping out with my older daughter (9). She's got autism and is non verbal. She has minimal self care skills. She's a very happy little soul who loves playing and smiling. As I have shared care with her father, she's only with us week on week off. So, every second week, it's just the newborn baby whom I will look after. However, a little help here and there is much appreciated.

We will also need help with some light housework. We don't have too much anyway.

Job Description

Most of the time while our older daughter Dara is in our care, she engages in an in home therapy. You occasionally need to assist therapists when they take her to the park, prepare meals, help with self care and hygiene. Dara goes to school 3 days a week. She needs to be picked up and dropped off. We have a car you can use for this purpose and other errands such as grocery shopping or taking Dara swimming (she loves swimming!)
