Work abroad in Caroline's family for 6-24 Months starting from Aug 2024 as an Au Pair to take care of 3 children of 1 - 5 years old, 6 - 10 years old & 11 - 14 years old in Oslo, Norway

Our sweet au pair will move back home and we are searching for her replacement; female au pair that we hope can stay for approximately 12 months (or longer).

EU citizens/EU passport.

We hope that you will bring with you positive energy and be our helping hand with the children and with household chores (divided 50/50) such as tidying/vacuuming/cleaning, laundry, preparing simple meals.

We are looking for someone organized, tidy, efficient, proactive and with an eye for what needs to be done.

Working schedule will be weekday afternoon/early evening (15:00-20:00. 15:00-16:30 can be flexed to the morning), Saturday later morning (sometimes afternoon/evening when agreed). Sunday off.

- 30 hours/week
- 5 hours/day (may be shuffled as agreed: between days and within days, but afternoon/early evening should be expected)
- Sundays off
- Extra working hours (agreed in advance) will be compensated (EU citizens)

7000 NOK/month including free board and lodging (tax liable).

We have three children (girl 4, girl 7 and boy 11 years old). They all attend school/kindergarten. You will sometimes pick up the youngest at kindergarten.

The children speak English, are including and behave well. The two oldest are also independent.

We work full time. I as a Team leader/Executive Assistant and my husband as a Research Director and have a hectic schedule during the weekdays.

You will have your own room, unlimited Internet, Netflix/Disney+/HBO.

Our house is in Oslo, close to nature, 1 minute from the metro station, and less than 15 minutes from Oslo city center. We also have everything in walking distance from the house (grocery store, cafes, pharmacy etc.). The house is tidy and easy to maintain.

We hope and appreciate that our au pair is an integrated and social part of our family when we are all together.

You will be joining us in weekend trips/vacation trips to our mountain cabin, and we hope that is something you will enjoy.

Our au pair will as a family member be an extra set of hands in a busy and active family life.
