Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a family of 5 living in The Glebe, a fun and central part of Ottawa. We would love an Au Pair who is caring, helpful and joyful to be around.

We live a 5 walk from coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, gyms,the Rideau canal, Lansdowne stadium, Blyth academy (private language school) and public buses.

We also have a holiday home in Mont Tremblant, a lovely village in Quebec. It is a 2 hour drive away. We love to spend our weekends there.

Job Description

We would love an Au Pair who can be an extra helping hand with the kids and with the day-to-day household tasks.

We would like to connect with someone who loves kids, and all the fun and chaos they bring! They should have experience with kids, and enjoy spending time with them.

We are looking for someone who is organized, helpful and kind.

Examples of daily tasks:
- Help get the kids ready for school (help serve breakfast, get dressed, brush teeth, quick tidy up)
- Read books with the kids
- Play, do crafts, play board games
- Washing, folding, putting away laundry
- Food preparation - serving snacks/kids lunchs/dinner preparation
- Light household tasks - e.g. vacuuming, tidying up kitchen/kids rooms, wipe down bathroom sinks, etc.
- No need for driving

We have a guest bedroom with its own bathroom in the basement of our home in Ottawa for the Au Pair. Our home is recently renovated, and is modern and comfortable.
At our holiday home in Mont Tremblant there is also a bedroom and bathroom just for the Au Pair.
We have wifi in both homes.
