Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello to our future Au Pair/Nanny!
We are a small family with one son. Husband is currently in the military, wife is working at a family owned restaurant, and our son is now 4 years of age, who goes to school, has swim class, and therapy to help with his speech every week. For our Au Pair, we will be researching the nearest school with language courses, but we are within 30 minutes of Washington D.C. We don't live in the city, we live in a very rural part of a town south of the city. Hopefully you love a quiet home surrounded by a lot of nature. There are a lot of resources near us within 40miles(approx. 64 km) since we do live in Southern Maryland just outside of the D.C. metro area.

Job Description

We will expect the Au Pair to:

-Take our son to swim class twice a week,
-Speech twice a week,
-Drop him off at the bus stop for school four days a week,
-Get him ready/watch over him during other available hours.
-Help maintain the house whenever available.

Once he is dropped off with the bus for school, he will be there for about 3-4 hours.

Accommodation

Will have your own bathroom, one that we normally only share to friends and family when we have people over, and for our son to take a bath every once in a while. He normally showers, but there is only one bathtub in the house, so occasionally we will need to borrow the tub. Otherwise, you will have your own room. WiFi will be available, most other utilities will be shared with rest of household (laundry, kitchen etc.)
