Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello our future Au Pair/Live-in Tutor,

We would like to invite to our lovely and active family. We live in the national park of Pantelleria island, an hidden gem island located in the hart of the Mediterranean Sea easily connected with daily flights to Italy (Sicily or North of Italy) that hosts 9 thousands stable residents and about 50 thousands fluctuant residents very friendly and Many of them quite famous as well! (To find out more just watch the movie” a bigger splash” directed by guadagnino).

Our two sons Andrea and Vincenzo are very friendly, lovely , immersed in an international environment being the island an attractive touristic place throughout all the year and being ourself frequent travellers, with an international background. Andrea will be 4 years old in July and Vincenzo turns 2 years old this February.

During our free time Francesco loves to cook the traditional Italian cuisine (if you would like to learn it, he is the best teacher for that), to degustate and explore natural wines in the island, to take boat trips, to make picnics in the mountain - and you would be part of this (if you would like).

I had a pleasure to be myself an Au Pair in Germany then I was 19 years old. It was an absolutely amazing experience taking care of two kids and we are friends until these days.

Job Description

-- we are looking someone from October but we could consider other dates too --

The person will be English speaking only and will have the task to speak and interact with our older son Andrea and possibly with Vincenzo as well involving them in a series of activities suitable for them. Might help small tasks at home related with kids, like sorting out the toys after playing with kids, organise their room, make lunch for them, dress them etc.
For further details we would like to discuss.

As Andrea is attending the kindergarten from 8:30 until 15:30, might activities with kids would be from the second part of the day, some Weekends might be free. We are flexible to discuss about your preferences, working hours (days) and tasks as I (Milda) do not have fixing working hours.

We would provide a studio, apartment. You will therefore have your own bedroom, your own kitchenette, your own bathroom and your own beautiful terrace with view of sea and the sunset that here are beautiful.

Our house located few min from the markets, pharmacy, restaurants and coffee places, cinema and beach, You can take nice walks to the sea. We have two cars or bus stop is next to the house.
