Nous vivons dans une maison 4 façades située juste après le périphérique au bord de Paris, quelque part entre Paris Intra-Muros, et l'aéroport d'Orly. Auparavant nous avions un appartement dans le centre, mais le confinement lié au covid nous a fait prendre conscience que la vie légèrement à l'écart du centre-ville serrait bénéfique pour nous. Le centre de Paris ne se trouve cependant pas loin, et nous sommes bien desservis par le RER, Metro, train, bus, etc.
Il y a également plusieurs écoles de langues a proximité, donc si l'au pair souhaite se lancer dans des études de langue, cela ne poserait pas de problème particulier.

Hello everybody, welcome to the page of the family. We are a family of three persons, my wife Linda, my 9 years old daughter named Laure, and myself, Sébastien.
We live in a detached house located not far from the "Boulevard périphérique" that surrounds the city of Paris, somewhere between Paris itself, and the Paris Orly airport. I used to work in downtown Paris before, and we used to have an appartment there, but the covid lockdown helped us realise that a life in the suburbs, slightly away from downtown, might be a good thing for us. Downtown Paris isn't very far, though, and we have an easy access to all modern public transports such as RER, subway, train, buses, and so on.
There's also several languges school nearby, so if the Au-pair is interested in learning any language, this wouldn't be a problem at all.

Job Description

L'au pair serrait amenée à aider ma fille à faire ses devoirs (niveau CE/CM relativement simple), et à veiller sur elle pendant que nous sommes absents. Elle serrait amenée à aider aux tâches ménagères (du genre ranger la vaisselle, aider ma fille à ranger ses affaires, aider à lui préparer un petit repas, etc). Elle serrait également amenée à faire les courses à l'occasion, et aider à décharger la voiture des sacs remplis de choses achetées au magasin. Rien de bien compliqué. La connaissance du français n'est pas indispensable (c'est un plus, cependant), mais un niveau raisonnable d'anglais est demandé, afin de pouvoir communiquer au moins en anglais.

The Au Pair would have to help my daughter with her school homeworks (relatively simple CE level), and to keep an eye on her while we're away. She would have to help with the daily house tasks such as sorting the dishes and getting them out of the dishes washing machine, help my daughter to sort her things, help cooking a small quick meal for her, etc). She would also occasionally have to help with shopping, and help getting out the groceries out of the car. Nothing really complicated. The knowledge of french isn't necessary (it's a bonus, though), but a reasonably good level of english would be good, so that we can communicate properly in english.

Accommodation

Maison 4 façades relativement moderne, avec double garage (mon épouse et moi disposons chacuns de notre propre véhicule) avec jardin de taille moyenne à l'arrière, plutôt classique. 210 m² de surface répartis sur 3 étages (rez-de-chaussée + 2 étages supérieurs).
L'au pair aurra bien évidement accès à sa propre chambre + salle de bain personelle. Il y a également un coin bureau disponible pour elle, pour étudier, ou n'importe quoi d'autre, ainsi qu'une télévision dans sa chambre. le Wifi est disponible partout à la maison.

Relatively modern detached house, with a double garage (my wife and myself both have our personal vehicule available), with a medium sized garden located behind the house, pretty classical. The available surface is around 210 m², on 3 floors (the ground floor + two superior floors above).
The au pair will naturally have her own bedroom + personal bathroom. There's also room for a desk, so that she can study or do pretty much whatever she likes. There's also a flat screen television with a dedicated tv decoder in her room, so she will be able to watch tv anytime she wants. Wifi is naturally available in the whole house.
