Hello and welcome !
We are looking for our third au pair: we were lucky enough to welcome an Italian high school student (last summer) and an American student (since September) into our home to help us take care of our two little ones. boys (9 months and 2 and a half years).
We in turn hope to integrate you into our family, introduce you to French culture, Parisian life and offer you a comfortable living environment in the heart of Paris in exchange for your support in running the household.

We try to reconcile this objective with French law which is quite restrictive.
In fact, to be able to be an au pair in our home, you need a work visa, which is the reason why our last au pair, American, was not able to continue the adventure. Allow us to explain why.

French law distinguishes two statuses for an au pair: "young au-pair" and "employee au-pair".
The "young au pair" cannot legally take care of children under the age of 3, she must have an "au pair" visa, signs an agreement with the host family, receives pocket money.
The "au pair" employee can look after children of all ages, she signs an employment contract and must therefore have a work visa, benefits from the social and legal protection of an employee and receives a exclusive payment in kind (accommodation, food, subscriptions).

As our children are under 3 years old, we offer “au-pair employee” status.

We are therefore looking for a young woman from Europe or from a country with an exchange agreement with France (Canada, Australia, New Zealand...but not the USA) with a mother tongue of German, Italian, Russian or English, to help us take care of our children (especially the eldest, see job description below).
We would like our future au pair to speak to our children in their mother tongue.
