Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Welcome to our family!

We are so happy you’ll be joining us for this exciting new chapter in our lives. As a couple in our early and mid-30s, we’re preparing to welcome our first child, and your presence will be an important part of this journey. Thank you for choosing to become a part of our home—we’re already looking forward to meeting you and getting to know you better.

We live in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, a lively and charming neighborhood filled with cafés, markets, parks, and a strong sense of community. It’s a vibrant area with easy access to public transportation, making it simple to explore all that Paris has to offer—from museums and historic sites to quiet corners perfect for reading or relaxing.

Our home is a calm and welcoming space, where music, culture, and thoughtful conversation are part of daily life. We both enjoy the arts, especially classical music, and we are deeply rooted in our cultural and spiritual traditions. While our days can be full, we always make time for good food, laughter, and meaningful connection.

We hope you will feel truly at home with us. You won’t just be helping with childcare—you’ll be part of our family. We’re excited to learn about your culture, share ours with you, and grow together during your stay. Your presence will make a lasting difference in our child’s life and in ours.

We know that moving to a new place can be overwhelming, but we are here to support you every step of the way. We want your experience here to be enriching, joyful, and filled with good memories.
