Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello!

We’re an English-Spanish family with two wonderful daughters: Arya (2 years old) and Leia (7 years old). Gemma, the mum, is English, and Manu, the dad, is Spanish. We speak English at home, but Gemma is always keen to practice her Spanish. Our girls are fluent in both languages.

We live in Boadilla del Monte, a town just 25 minutes from the center of Madrid. Our home is spacious and comfortable, and you’ll have your own bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony.

We’re a vegan family (a bit unusual in Spain!) and would love to find an au pair who is vegan or vegetarian too. We’re looking for someone kind, patient, and fun to help care for Arya, engage in playful and educational activities with both girls, and become a part of our family.

If you enjoy spending time with children, are interested in exploring Spanish culture while living in a friendly, bilingual environment, and are open to sharing delicious plant-based meals with us, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Description

Light household tasks related to children, such as laundry and tidying toys.
Monday-Thursday taking care of Arya 9:30-17:00pm (Leia finishes school around 2:30pm), and Friday 9:30-2pm. Evenings and weekends off.

This is our first time, so we can discuss what pocket money is fair :)
